ABOUT HEATHER
Founding Director of the Institute for Vocal Advancement, delivering training to voice teachers and singers globally.
Heather works with some of the greatest teachers in the world and has been continuously studying vocal pedagogy since 2001, attending training through SLS, IVA, BVA, AOTOS, NATS and VASTA. In 2024 she received an MA with Distinction in Vocal Pedagogy through the Voice Study Centre and The University of Wales (Trinity St. David) where she focussed on the Neurological processes involved in voice training.
Heather has presented at a variety of conferences including IVACON in California (2014,2015 and 2017), Edinburgh (2015 and 2024), Vienna (2019), Munich (2025) and online (2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023); The Music Education Solutions Conference (2022);…
